This course will explore ways that seasoned professionals can, by harkening back to more traditional practices and interpretations of ethical rules, shepherd a new generation of family lawyers to become leaders, helpers, and healers. We will discuss with a panel of distinguished judges from across the Commonwealth, how new attorneys can, even when they are in adversarial roles, become genuine friends and colleagues in the true sense of the word, while in the process, helping their clients through the toughest times of their lives by working side by side to achieve a fair and appropriate result.
